So even as Robert Kraft enjoyed one of his favorite days of the year at the Myra Kraft Community MVP Awards at the Putnam Club at Gillette Stadium, the Patriots owner yesterday had to address an off-the-field incident that left many scratching their heads.
On Monday, the Patriots released linebacker Brandon Spikes a day after his damaged car was found abandoned on I-495. Although a representative of the onboard navigation system reported to police that the driver hit a deer, no evidence of a deer was found and the driver was not present.
