FOXBORO — Rob Ninkovich firmly believes there’s a necessary level of craziness to achieving long-term NFL success.
And that’s a good thing.
Now in his 10th season, Ninkovich has been a mad scientist throughout his journey, always finding new methods to cement his status on a given team or depth chart. It was a whole lot harder to earn a paycheck in the early going when he tore his ACL and was cut four times in his first four seasons, but, even as a defensive staple, Ninkovich is now embarking on a different challenge — a 31-year-old being chased by a combination of rookies and Father Time.
