It’s no secret that Patriots all-world tight end Rob Gronkowski was seriously contemplating retirement during the offseason. Some theorists believe it would have happened had New England prevailed in the Super Bowl. Others suggest it was only a calculated threat made to negate a trade to the Detroit Lions.
After 41-year-old quarterback Tom Brady reasserted his plans to play next season, Gronk was asked if he also planned on being out there in 2019.
