Rob Gronkowski had well wishes for Bill Belichick as the ex-Patriots coach takes on a new position leading the University of North Carolina”s football program.
The four-time Super Bowl champion emceed the LA Bowl on Wednesday, where he discussed his former coach’s career change in a sideline interview with ESPN.
“Coach Belichick, he’s gonna do an awesome job coaching those young bucks at UNC. I love the guy. I’m wishing him nothing but the best,” the former tight end said, also joking that he’s working as a recruiter for Belichick.
This will be Belichick’s first time coaching college football, and he will have to adjust to recruiting athletes and the transfer portal.
