FOXBORO — Rob Gronkowski emerged from taking a shower after the Patriots’ 36-7 win last night, quickly got dressed and rose up over the crowd of media and cameras to throw his towel into a laundry basket like he was taking a jump shot.
“Did you make it?” one reporter asked the tight end, his view of the shot blocked by the crowd.
Gronkowski turned to him matter-of-factly.
“Yeah,” Gronkowski said confidently. “Did you think I was going to miss after that game?”
Seven games into the season, Gronkowski’s confidence is at an all-time high, and it’s easy to see why.
