Apparently it takes more than 205 diamonds to impress the guys at SportsCenter.
In the latest "This is SportsCenter" ad, Rob Gronkowski returns to their office in Bristol sporting his 4.85 karat, Super Bowl XLIX championship ring. In a spoof on office engagements, Gronkowski tells the story of how the ring was given to him, and proclaims, "I don't think I want it any bigger." In standard office fashion, the ESPN employees are in awe of it while the tight end shows it off.
But when Gronkowski leaves the room, the anchors immediately call the $36,500 ring "tacky," "too much," and ask, "what is he thinking?
