Rob Gronkowski makes brief statement, says it's 'good to be back'

FOXBORO -- Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski briefly broke his silence today, making a 15-second statement at his locker before walking away without fielding any questions.

It's the first time Gronkowski has spoken to reporters since spraining and bruising his right knee against the Broncos. Gronkowski returned to practice yesterday on a limited basis.

"I’m doing everything I can to get better every single day, and it feels good to be back with my teammates -- just mentally, physically to be back with them out on the practice field," Gronkowski said. "And any other questions, you’ve just got to talk to coach (Bill) Belichick.
