Even though Rob Gronkowski would love to continue stomping on helpless defenses, and continuing the run the Patriots are on, the bye allows for the players to take a break. Bill Belichick is giving them the next four days before they return on Monday.
Asked if it was nice to get a mental break, Gronk smiled and shook his head.
"Definitely. Isn’t it nice to get off work once in awhile?," he said. "It’s always good to get your mind refreshed, get your mind off football a little bit, just for a few days and then come back refreshed and prepared and ready to go.
