HOUSTON — What initially appeared to be a devastating knee injury may only have kept Rob Gronkowski out of one game.
Gronkowski, the league's best tight end and the key to the Patriots' offense, made the trip to Houston for Sunday night's game, according to multiple reports. He is officially listed as questionable with a bone bruise and knee sprain sustained in Week 12 at Denver. He returned the practice field Thursday after missing four practices in total.
ESPN's Dianna Russini reported Sunday afternoon that Gronk "will be active."
Prior to Russini's news, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that Gronk's status is "up in the air" and will "depend on how he feels.
