Rob Gronkowski fires up Bruins' crowd prior to Game 2 vs. Maple Leafs

Former New England Patriots star Rob Gronkowski is certainly making the most of his retirement.

Gronkowski, who stepped away from the NFL on March 24, shortly after winning his third Super Bowl with the Patriots, was on hand to support the Bruins prior to Game 2 of their first-round series against the Toronto Maple Leafs, serving as a fan-banner captain along side Special Olympics athlete Matt Millett.

The perpetual life of the party, Gronkowski was certainly fired up, amplifying an electric atmosphere at the TD Garden. Arguably the greatest tight end in NFL history, Gronkowski cemented his status as a Boston sports legend and it’s possible he’ll be on hand for the entirety of the Bruins’ playoff run.
