Ricky Jean-Francois plans to continue his NFL career next season. It just won’t be with the Patriots.
The defensive lineman, who played in nine games for New England last season including the playoffs after arriving at midseason, released a statement saying he’s looking for a new team.
"I'd like to thank Robert Kraft, coach (Bill) Belichick, coach (Matt) Patricia and the Patriots front office for allowing me to be a part of something that not a lot of players get the opportunity to do - play for the New England Patriots," said Jean Francois. "Playing in Foxboro made me appreciate this game a lot more.
