On Julian Edelman’s podcast, “Games with Names,” Rich Ohrnberger remembered when Randy Moss thought he was a coach during his rookie season.
In 2009, Ohrnberger was drafted by the Patriots where Moss immediately started calling him ‘coach.’
“He gave me this nickname and it happened immediately,” Ohrnberger said. “I have no idea why, because we barely spoke to each other outside of passing by each other in the hallway or outside the meeting rooms or on the football field. You know, we’re on our way to the football field, he’d be like, ‘Hey, what’s up coach?’ He called me coach.
