The Patriots placed recently signed undrafted free-agent receiver Darren Andrews on the non-football injury list for 2018 and have restructured the contract of receiver Phillip Dorsett, according to ESPN reports.
Andrews, an undrafted free agent from UCLA, tore his ACL and meniscus in November. He was waived with the NFI designation after the Patriots signed punter Corey Bojorquez from New Mexico. Andrews cleared waivers and will likely spend all of 2018 on NFI.
Dorsett had his fifth-year option was declined this spring, meaning he'll be playing for a new contract in 2019.
