Tom Brady is electing to skip the voluntary portion of the Patriots offseason training program, according to ESPN’s Jeff Darlington.
Even though today’s absence was chalked up to a scheduling conflict related to his trip to Qatar and being an ambassador for Best Buddies International, the fact Brady won’t be a participant in the coming days suggests something else.
According to Darlington, Brady wants to spend more time with his family and with his body coach, Alex Guerrero.
During an appearance on “SportsCenter,” Darlington said he wasn't sure when the Patriots would see their star quarterback going forward.
