Report: Steelers tight ends coach allegedly assaulted Patriots fan

According to a report, faulty headsets aren't the only thing the NFL will be looking into in the wake of last night's Patriots victory.

Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, NFL security is investigating Steelers tight ends coach James Daniel for assaulting a Patriots fan.

Heading into the tunnel to the locker room around halftime, Daniel allegedly kicked a fan and verbally accosted him.

When security officials later connected with Daniel, the assistant coach began yelling at the police officer questioning him, according to those who saw the exchange who talked to ESPN.

The league has yet to issue a statement on the incident.
