Report: Pats hold Malcolm Butler out of practice due to missed flight (Shutdown Corner)

The hero of Super Bowl XLIX is reportedly not off to a good start in his second NFL season.

New England Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler, who sealed the team’s fourth title with an interception in the end zone in the game’s final minute, was reportedly held off the practice field for three weeks because he was late for the team’s first OTA.

According to the Boston Herald, Butler missed a flight to Boston due to weather issues, causing a late arrival to the Patriots’ May 26 practice.
