It appears the Patriots remain busy as they continue getting their roster in order.
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, New England is trading veteran offensive tackle Marcus Cannon to Houston in exchange for draft picks. The Boston Globe’s Jim McBride had more information on the compensation, as he reported that the two teams are swapping selections in rounds four, five and six of the upcoming draft, citing a league source.
The move isn’t a surprise as Cannon’s future appeared to be in doubt, so the fact the Patriots were able to complete a trade at all was good news.
