New England Patriots cornerback Jack Jones is expected to miss “some time” with a hamstring injury, a source told The Athletic’s Jeff Howe on Thursday.
Jones was listed as a limited participant at practice on Wednesday, but he did not participate in Thursday’s practice. Not having him on the field is a tough blow for the Patriots given their questionable depth at the cornerback position.
This will put them in a position where they might have to lean more on players like Myles Bryant and Shaun Wade behind Jonathan Jones, Christian Gonzalez and Marcus Jones.
