The New England Patriots had a familiar face in the building for Monday's training camp practice. That player was quickly revealed to be former Patriots long-snapper Tucker Addington.
KPRC's Aaron Wilson confirmed Addington signed with the Patriots on Monday. It would appear as if Addington is joining the team as training camp competition for longtime veteran Joe Cardona.
Cardona has been the long snapper for New England since 2015. He is the second-highest drafted long snapper in NFL history as a fifth-round selection. Now, the 32-year-old will have to prove himself in a head-to-head battle with Addington.
