The New England Patriots have already begun evaluating players for the 2020 season.
According to ESPN's Mike Reiss, the Patriots hosted former Indiana and Illinois State quarterback Tre Roberson for a workout on Wednesday. The 27-year-old currently plays in the Canadian Football League as a cornerback.
The Patriots had Canadian Football League CB Tre Roberson (Calgary) in for a free-agent workout.
Roberson, who played quarterback in college at Illinois State, initially had signed with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2016.
