Report: NFLPA filed complaint against Pats over Malcolm Butler OTA benching

According to an ESPN report this morning, the NFL Players Association has filed a complaint against the Patriots for benching cornerback Malcolm Butler from on-field workouts during the beginning organized team activities.

Butler was reportedly disciplined by the team for being late to OTAs because his flight was grounded due to adverse weather conditions. Butler was initially held out from on-field activities, although he did participate in classroom work, team meetings and weight room activities. Butler's pay was not withheld, but he was not allowed on the field until the final week of OTAs.

According to the report, the league has filed the complaint without Butler's consent.
