Considering the reaction coming off the field on Sunday by Mac Jones after Calais Cambpell landed on his left ankle, it sounds like the news on his injury is somewhat promising.
According to Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Jones under went tests on Monday and the results apparently revealed that Jones suffered a “pretty severe” high ankle sprain during Sunday’s loss against the Ravens, and the team is hoping that Jones won’t need surgery.
No timetable has reportedly been set yet in terms of a potential return, but it looks unlikely that he’ll be able to play on Sunday against the Packers.
