The Patriots hosted a couple more free agents today, bringing in former Bills wide receiver Jordan Matthews, along with former Cardinals tight end Troy Niklas, according to ESPN. com. Both were second round picks in the 2014 draft.
Matthews, who played several seasons with the Eagles before landing with Bills last season, has dealt with injuries throughout his career. While in Buffalo last season, he caught 25 passes for 282 yards with a touchdown. The 6-foot-3, 212 pound receiver would be an option in the slot.
Niklas, meanwhile, who is 6-foot-6, 270-pounds, is considered more of a blocker.
