It’s likely Newton suffered the injury during the team’s Week 12 win over the Arizona Cardinals at Gillette Stadium. He was not listed on the injury report in the days leading up to the game.
“Yeah, we’ll update it as we go through the week here,” Belichick said on Thursday morning before the team’s second practice of the week.
