DeAngelo Hall played the final decade of his 14-year career with the Washington Redskins.
If he could do it over again, the Pro Bowl cornerback would have spent some of that time in Foxborough instead.
Now an NFL.com analyst, Hall said the biggest regret of his career was not accepting an offer from Bill Belichick after the 2008 season. The cornerback was already a two-time Pro Bowler and wound up going to another in 2010.
“I remember negotiations for a new deal with Washington weren’t going well, and there were other teams in the picture, including New England,” Hall said on NFL.
