New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick added his voice to the many mourning the death of former NFL receiver Reche Caldwell Sunday evening.
The 41-year-old former receiver, who played for the New England Patriots, the San Diego Chargers and Washington Redskins, was shot and killed during an attempted robbery Saturday outside his Tampa, Florida home in a story first reported by TMZ.
Belichick, doesn’t use social media, but the Patriots tweeted a statement on his behalf:
“I am saddened to hear the news about Reche. He is remembered for his solid contributions to our team.
