It didn’t take Tyquan Thornton long to find a new home in the NFL.
The wide receiver, who was released by the New England Patriots on Saturday, signed with the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad, a source told NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport.
The 2022 second-round pick was a healthy scratch in back-to-back games for New England and was in a crowded wide receiver room. Because Thornton didn’t do too much to stand out, the Patriots cut ties with him.
