A second wide receiver has filed an injury grievance against the Patriots seeking his full salary from the 2018 season.
Veteran receiver Kenny Britt, released on Aug. 22 without an injury designation, filed a grievance seeking his entire $1.05 million salary from the Patriots, per NFL Players Association records. Britt originally injured his hamstring during spring workouts, and didn’t participate for the first four weeks of training camp, even though he was often in uniform and working with trainers on a side field.
Britt joins ex-Patriots receiver Malcolm Mitchell in filing an injury grievance against the team.
