Randy Moss got emotional describing his Hall of Fame election

Randy Moss rarely met a defense he couldn’t get through, but he found it hard to get through an answer Sunday when describing how much the Hall of Fame meant to him.

Moss was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame Saturday in his first time on the ballot. Moss was on the receiving end of 23 touchdowns from Tom Brady as a member of the Patriots in 2007, and he caught 156 touchdowns in his 14-year NFL career.

On ESPN’s NFL Countdown set Sunday, Moss was asked what he felt when Hall of Fame president David Baker told him he would be inducted into the ranks of the greatest to play the game.
