Reports surfaced last week stating New England Patriots head coach Jerod Mayo and his coaching staff are expected to be back for the 2025 season.
But that was before the organization took a massive step back against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
Mayo and Patriots defensive coordinator DeMarcus Covington got “pantsed” against Miami’s offensive-minded head coach Mike McDaniel, as expressed by NESN.com’s Sean McGuire during the latest episode of NESN’s “Foxboro Rush.”
The performance prompted NESN’s George Balekji, Travis Thomas and McGuire to discuss whether any coach might be on the chopping block.
