T.C. McCartney, who spent last season as the New England Patriots’ quarterbacks coach, will not be back with the organization in 2025. According to a report by Mark Daniels of MassLive, McCartney is set to depart the team only one year after his arrival.
McCartney, 35, was one of several coaches joining the Patriots from the Cleveland Browns last offseason. Working alongside offensive coordinator and fellow ex-Brown Alex Van Pelt, he was one of the men responsible for developing quarterbacks Drake Maye and Joe Milton during their rookie seasons.
Under his guidance, Maye started 12 of his 13 games in 2024.
