Two weeks ago, after the New England Patriots’ Week 10 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, we asked the question where the team and quarterback Mac Jones would be headed. The former first-round draft pick had just been benched in crunch time of a one-score game, and his future both in the short and the long term appeared to be in serious question.
Fast forward to today, and a 10-7 loss to the New York Giants that saw Jones get pulled once again. After throwing two interceptions in the first half, and leading the New England offense to zero points, he was again taken out of the game in favor of backup Bailey Zappe.
