Contract situation: The Patriots have quantity, but certainly lack quality at this position.

Edelman, 34, enters the offseason as the Patriots highest-paid receiver. He’s set to count as a $6,104,167 cap hit in 2021 and will be an unrestricted free agent in 2022.
