Exiting their bye week at 2-8 and as one of the worst teams in the NFL, the New England Patriots seemingly have little to play for over their final seven games of the season. With their playoff chances virtually zero, the “best” outcome might be to secure a top position in next year’s draft to inject some much-needed talent into the roster.
Looking at the journey ahead, the Patriots might actually be able to do that. While only three of their seven opponents actually have a winning record, several high-profile opponents and teams still very much alive in the race for playoff positioning can be found.
