Preseason week 2 Patriots vs Eagles: Isaiah Wynn leaves game with ankle injury; questionable to return

There was a lot to like during the first quarter of the New England Patriots’ preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Led by Tom Brady, the offense looked solid while the team’s defense applied plenty of pressure on reigning Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles. However, there was one clear negative: first-round rookie Isaiah Wynn had to leave the contest after suffering an ankle injury.

Wynn rotated in and out of the lineup at right tackle and came up limping early during the Patriots’ second series. He exited the field and went straight to the medical tent on the sidelines before getting on a cart and being brought to the locker room.
