Last Thursday, the New England Patriots played their first game of the 2018 season. While a lot of the team’s star players were given the day off and the battles for roster spots took center stage instead, it was still a relatively entertaining affair for a preseason opener: after all, the Patriots were able to rally back from a 17-point second quarter deficit to defeat the visiting Washington Redskins 26-17.
One of the biggest roles in the comeback victory was played by running back Ralph Webb. The undrafted rookie, who saw most of his snaps in the third and fourth periods, finished the game with 14 carries for 46 yards and two touchdowns.
