Even though they moved quickly to replace head coach Bill Belichick with Jerod Mayo, the New England Patriots remain in a state of uncertainty. Coming off a 4-13 season, after all, there are considerable questions surrounding the club beyond its coaching staff and front office.
The biggest among them might be what to do at the quarterback position after neither Mac Jones nor Bailey Zappe seemed to prove themselves as viable long-term options for the club. With the Patriots therefore in the market for a QB, it seems like a foregone conclusion that they will add another passer to the fold this offseason — possibly using their third overall pick in the draft to do so.
