A possible Patriots offseason target may have just become available on the NFL market after reportedly requesting a trade.
DK Metcalf, the Seahawks’ No. 1 wide receiver, has told the team he wants a trade away from Seattle, according to multiple reports (including ESPN’s Adam Schefter and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero).
Metcalf, 27, has spent all six seasons of his NFL career with the Seahawks after being drafted in the second round by Seattle (64th overall) in 2019. He’s produced three seasons with at least 1,000 receiving yards, and has totaled 48 touchdowns.
