The first day of NFL playoff action is over. The AFC's part of the competition started with an upset as the fifth-seeded Tennessee Titans went onto the road to defeat the conference number three seed, the Kansas City Chiefs, 22-21. Tennessee, which came back from a 21-3 halftime deficit, now advance to the divisional round where the team might potentially face the New England Patriots.
The other possibility for the Patriots is that the defending world champions host the Buffalo Bills: If New England's AFC East rivals defeat the Jacksonville Jaguars today, Buffalo - as the lowest remaining seed in the AFC bracket of the tournament - would have to travel into Foxboro to take on the reigning division champions and the conference's top playoff seed.
