Peyton Manning's image as one of the NFL's paragons could be shaken to its core as a result of a report Saturday night indicating that a special investigation from Al-Jazeera has linked the longtime quarterback to shipments of human growth hormone (HGH).
According to the Huffington Post, Al-Jazeera is set to release a special investigative report -- "The Dark Side" -- on the presence of performance-enhancing drug (PED) use in sports. Many high-profile athletes were linked in the report, but the biggest shocker of them all is Manning.
The report alleges that the now-Denver Broncos quarterback was the intended recipient of HGH shipments in 2011, when he was with the Indianapolis Colts and recovering from a major neck injury.
