Perfect attendance for Patriots at practice

FOXBOROUGH – The Patriots had perfect attendance at practice Thursday for the first time since Oct. 10.

Tight end Dwayne Allen returned for the first time since he injured his knee against the Titans on Nov. 11. Allen was the only player absent at Wednesday’s practice.

The session in sweats and shells took place a day after the team issued one of its shortest injury reports of the season, one that, notably, did not include tight end Rob Gronkowski who had previously been listed with back and ankle injuries. Having now activated both of their designated-to-return players, cornerback Duke Dawson and running back Rex Burkhead, from the injured reserve list, the Patriots are at arguably their healthiest since Week 1.
