PawSox rally fans with 'Free Tom Brady' night

PAWTUCKET, R.I. — The stands at McCoy Stadium were packed with “Toms” and “Bradys” from across New England as the Pawtucket Red Sox hosted “Free Brady Friday” in support of the Pats’ embattled star quarterback.

Last night’s lovefest in support of the future Hall of Famer — who has been ensnared in the highly publicized Deflategate controversy for almost 18 months — offered free admission to anyone named “Tom” or “Brady.”

Box seats, normally priced $13, were reduced to $12 to match Brady’s uniform number and for each of those tickets sold, the PawSox agreed to donate a “quarter back” to Best Buddies International — a nonprofit organization that is especially close to Brady’s heart.
