FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has been excused from the team for the second day in a row for non-injury-related reasons, according to a source, but coach Bill Belichick wouldn't detail reasons for the absence.
"I don't comment on any personal situations," Belichick said before the team's Monday practice.
Comcast SportsNet first reported that Brady had an excused absence.
Brady also had an excused absence from the team's first preseason game, Aug. 11 against the New Orleans Saints as the team said he was attending memorial services for a family member.
