Pats’ new corner turns hard work into success

FOXBORO — Bradley Fletcher finds himself in a familiar role as he begins the next phase of his career.

Coming off a season where the cornerback was perhaps best remembered for how he was repeatedly burned by Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant, Fletcher again has to prove himself.

Luckily, he has some experience doing just that.

Even before Fletcher began his pro career, he was considered an under-the-radar prospect in both high school and college. In fact, when he was offered a scholarship to the University of Iowa, it was the first and only one for the standout from Liberty High in Youngstown, Ohio.
