GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) -- The New England Patriots made it official on Sunday and listed All-Pro tight end Rob Gronkowski as inactive for Sunday night's opener against the Arizona Cardinals.
Gronkowski did not make the trip because of a hamstring injury. The Patriots also did not bring starting left tackle Nate Solder (hamstring) and starting right guard Jonathan Cooper (foot).
The only Arizona players inactive due to injury were backup outsider linebacker Kareem Martin and backup running back Stepfan Taylor, both with knee injuries.
