INDIANAPOLIS – Slade Bolden always seemed like a perfect fit for the Patriots.
The wide receiver is close friends with Patriots quarterback Mac Jones. The pair were roommates and played together in college at Alabama. On top of that, he played under current Patriots offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien. To add even more to that, Bolden is a slot receiver who idolizes Julian Edelman and was someone that O’Brien compared to Wes Welker.
This ‘perfect fit’ just might be on the Patriots come this offseason.
According to a source, the Patriots had Bolden in Foxborough on Tuesday in order to work out the wide receiver.
