There weren’t a lot of bright spots in the Patriots’’ 22-12 playoff-eliminating loss to the Miami Dolphins. That was the case on both sides of the ball, but certainly on offense where the unit failed to score a single touchdown.
However, one of the long shining stars of this Patriots season is and has been receiver Jakobi Meyers.
The second-year wide out finished with a team-high seven receptions for 111 yards. Meyers now has 617 receiving yards with two games to go in this 2020 season. The game wasn’t perfect for the 24-year-old, but after his first NFL fumble, he showed resolve by hauling in a game-high 35-yard reception.
