The New England Patriots waived rookie defensive end Jamree Kromah from the active roster amid a series of moves announced by the organization on Tuesday afternoon.
Kromah, 24, had arrived in Foxborough off the Chicago Bears’ practice squad midway through September. The undrafted free agent resided among the inactives for the past three weeks — the minimum requirement for his stay under NFL rules. A transfer from Rutgers to James Madison, Kromah totaled 60 tackles, 11 sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery as a redshirt senior last fall.
