Offensive tackle Vederian Lowe, defensive tackle Jaquelin Roy and linebacker Christian Elliss all returned for Thursday’s practice in Foxborough. As for quarterback Drake Maye, who previously had a 30-minute window, he remained among the limited participants while appearing to reach the fourth phase of the NFL’s concussion protocol.
“Hopefully he’s progressing,” offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt said of the rookie starter during his morning press conference. “I’m very hopeful that things keep going in the way they’re trending, but again, that’s not my area.
