The New England Patriots need a quick turnaround after their 6-0 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. Their next game, after all, is going to be played just four days later: the 2-10 Patriots will travel to Pittsburgh to take on the 7-5 Steelers on Thursday Night Football.
One of two primetime games remaining for the Patriots — the other coming in Week 16 in Denver — it will be a battle of backup quarterbacks. Bailey Zappe will start for New England after supplanting a struggling Mac Jones on the depth charter; Mitchell Trubisky will lead the Steelers following an injury to nominal starter Kenny Pickett.
